Holiday Baking

It's always been a tradition in my family to bake lots of things right before Christmas and give them away to friends and family. It's one of the few traditions I've taken with me even though my wife and kids don't bake. Unfortunately, I didn't bake as much as I had planned, but I still have too much food. I made 2 lbs of fudge, peanut butter and honey cookies, Oatmeal Scotchie bars, Chocolate Chunk cookies and Triple chocolate coffee cookies. They all came out well. My favorites were the triple chocolate cookies.

Here's the finished cookies and bars...

My wife helped...somewhat...mostly she didn't complain....

I even cleaned up the kitchen.

FYI, I used to bake before I married you ask Jamie and my Mother, but since you're great at it and I'm constantly busy I figured letting you take over the baking works well for both of us!

I was wondering who did the cleaning after all of that baking. The cookies all look terrific! I bet the house smelled so good. :)

Yummy, I can just smell their deliousness from here. I used to do so much more when life was simple back in the early days. That baker took off her hat to put on a pit helmet.

I miss baking with you. We didn't really do as much this year.
