I, J, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. At a normal reenlistment ceremony, the reenlisting officer will say a few kind words about the soldier, then the soldier takes the Oath and then is given a chance to say a few words. I didn't have much to say because I don't say much to begin with. Nothing would be complete without a few words to thank my wife and kids for all of their love and support, and I wouldn't be here without them. This and everything else that I do is for them.
